Terms & Conditions — Narisa Studio Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Narisa Studio ("we", "us", "our") and our clients ("you") in respect of all event decor commissions and related services.

1. The Commission

All work undertaken by Narisa Studio is by private commission only. Each commission is bespoke and unique to the client. No two commissions are identical. A commission is formally accepted only upon receipt of a signed contract and the required deposit.

2. Quotations & Proposals

All quotations provided by Narisa Studio are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Quotations are estimates based on information provided at the time and may be subject to change if the scope of the commission changes. A detailed proposal will be prepared and shared prior to contract signing.

3. Deposits & Payment

The following payment schedule applies to all commissions:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total commission value is required to secure your date
• A further 40% is due 60 days prior to the event date
• The remaining 30% balance is due 14 days prior to the event date

All payments are due within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payments may result in work being paused and, in extreme cases, cancellation of the commission. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices.

4. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the client:

• The initial 30% deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances
• Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event: deposit only is retained
• Cancellations made 60–90 days before the event: 50% of the total commission value is due
• Cancellations made less than 60 days before the event: 100% of the total commission value is due

We strongly recommend that clients take out event cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

5. Changes to the Commission

We understand that plans evolve. Minor changes to a commission may be accommodated without additional charge. Significant changes in scope, guest numbers, venue or design direction may require a revised quotation. All changes must be agreed in writing.

6. Our Responsibilities

Narisa Studio undertakes to:

• Deliver all agreed services to the highest standard
• Communicate proactively and keep you informed at every stage
• Source materials and suppliers that meet our quality standards
• Arrive and set up within agreed timeframes
• Carry appropriate public liability insurance

7. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform their obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, or government restrictions. In such circumstances, we will work with you in good faith to find a suitable resolution.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, mood boards and creative materials produced by Narisa Studio remain our intellectual property until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to use photographs of completed commissions for portfolio, marketing and social media purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you in respect of any commission shall not exceed the total value of that commission. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses arising from our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
